Ronnie has over 15 years experience working with financial products. He started his financial career at CMC Markets in 1999 working in CFD Equity Sales but he has been passionate about FX and UK equities since he was a teenager at King's School, Canterbury. In 2001, he joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (now BlackRock - the world's largest asset manager) and worked there for over four years as a RFP analyst. Over the last decade, he has worked in a number of brokerage firms as a CFD and FX sales trader, market strategist and a partner.
Ronnie has been interviewed on a number of global business channels including BBC 1, BBC World, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN and Sky News about topics concerning the financial markets. Over the last few years, he has written articles for a number of global newspapers and financial websites including Reuters and Yahoo. He has written articles in City A.M and Shares Magazine and has lectured students from the University of Colorado about Equities. Ronnie has also been a public speaker at a number of financially focused events.
Ronnie holds a BSc Honours from Oxford Brookes University & an MBA from American College London. In 2016 he also completed an Asset Management course at The London School of Economics.
At KTA, Ronnie offers educational courses and lectures on Equities and FX, he gives practical situations that can be associated with the current markets. His interest is mainly in fundamentals of companies and is a value investor and contrarian at times. He is very personable and has genuine passion regarding the markets and this is demonstrated by his interest when he discusses financial topics on the various TV channels that he appears on.
